I have an issue with the News module.

When creating a new article, the module fails to assign a storyid and "0" is entered into the `storyid` field of the `stories` table in the db.

The article title and info will display properly in the backend and on the frontend, but when clicked, it returns "article does not exist..."

I had this problem in News 1.1 and upgraded to News 1.64 but the problem persists.

Any ideas or assistance is greatly appreciated.

This might be a stupid question, but did you update the module by re-compiling it in Admin, or did you just copy the files over?

Had to rebuild DB `stories` table, and verify that `storyid` was set to auto_increment. DUH!
