Newbb/CBB: disable automatic removal of inactive topics?

I noticed a topic that was inactive for about 4 months was automatically removed, and i want to prevent this in the future... how?

Set your display options for display 'from the beginning' in stead of 'from the last 100 days'.

thanks! i had deleted that option menu for simplicity, that's why i couldn't think of that myself. but i changed the default in the admin area, so problem solved.
