Warning

Hello,

I keep getting the following warnings:

xoops_lib is inside DocumentRoot!
For security considerations it is highly suggested to move it out of DocumentRoot.

xoops_data is inside DocumentRoot!
For security considerations it is highly suggested to move it out of DocumentRoot.

When I move them things do not work right. What am I doing wrong?

Dumbfounded,
Eric Hendrix

hi'

You must change the path in mainfile.php to point to the relocated folders.

Thank you both for the answers.

Thank you for the example!!!

I am a visual guy and that was a godsend! I wasn't sure where to move it to.

My site is really starting to take shape as to what I envisioned.

The help I have received here is GREAT!

Eric, check out the Installation Guide. That's as visual as it gets!

Thank you!

I have saved it and will most likely refer to it from time to time.

I think I have another solution for this problem, much easier and elegant

my idea is

from the hosting control panel password protect the two folders

to see if I can explain

Open the Control Panel of our hosting and protect the two folders with password and voala

I hope opinon, thank you very much and best regards

(Translated with google, sorry)
