Also, are you using the standard XOOPS registration or are you running the Profile Module?

On XOOPS France there were also two users with that problem. Made no difference with /register.php (profile disabled) or /modules/profile/register.php
They assured me permissions, fields and steps were in order.
No difference for French or English. No clue yet.
Thinking of captcha (probably not) or mail.

any help possible would be wonderful, I've gone through the FAQ's as much as possible, especially about the blank page, and have done everything that I have the ability to do so with, and still no resolution.

here's the basic info required:
XOOPS Version: 2.4.0
PHP Version: 4.4.9
MySQL Version: 5.0.67-community
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Apache 1.3.41 (Unix)
Operating System: linux
Theme you are using: rockband
Custom template: (Yes/No) no?
PHP Debug Messages: (unable to locate)
MySQL Debug Messages: (unable to locate)
Smarty Debug Messages: (unable to locate)
A full description of the issue:

if you go to westtxrockcrawlers.com and try to register, after you click submit, it goes to a blank page, with no debug info to be found on it.....the site's hosted on lunarpages so I can't do a lot of the more "change this on the server" oriented things....any suggestions/ideas?

Please upgrade to XOOPS 2.4.1 and see if this is still an issue.

On XOOPS France, one user resolved its problem by setting the use of PHP 5 for its website.
Could it be that 2.4.x (somewhere in the registration) is no longer PHP 4 compliant?

Hello ghia
I can't read France, can you somehow translate to us that how the user change setting on PHP 5 .
But my site is using PHP 5.2.10.

Hello Manba
I use the standard XOOPS registration, and with or without the user profile modules, when I finish typing the user information and submit it, Blank page showed .
The only difference between with or without user profile module, when the user profile module is on, It will show under as :

Username: dupont
Email: X^X^X@yahoo.com.tw
Time Zone: GMT +8
:
and "finish"

After press finish, It go to blank page also .

Edit by ghia: changed email address to protect privacy and against SPAM

If you have PHP 5 it has no use to try to change it. It depends also on the hoster his system, which instruction you should use in the .htaccess, so, see the hosters documentation for this. To check the version, see your admin panel or create a info.php in the directory to test with at the inside:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
then call it by your browser. Do you use english on your site? If not try to register when the site is set to English in the preferences.
