Hello

I start a site and I would like to use XOOPS as my cms, but also I would like to use smf as my forum. Is there any way to sink those two, to have for instance profile, photo folder galleries and other this under one click. I saw that XOOPS have “two” users acc, different for site and different for yugurt -
I want it to be one, single accound where You can see posts, this crap from yogurt and other everuthing in one place… and of course smf forum user accout, if not scombined with those two, at least shown on same page…. Is it possible???
If so, that would be really great…

Further thanks for replay…

With love <3

For SMF you can use this convertor to the NewBB/CBB forum module (as here on XOOPS.org), this way your forum and XOOPS are perfectly integrated.

Try search SMF forums for XOOPS bridge. I remember that there was such stuff.

Xoops in root and SMF in “root/SMF” folder...
I created different MySQL bases and use only one mysqul user acc for both of them.
but what now?
in smf_1-1_xoops_2-0-x_bridge_1-1_beta_2.zip

are thoes files,
Quote:

admin
blocks
images
language
templates
xoops_version.php
index.php
header.php
config.php

where should I copy them,
sorry, I'f this si obvious, but not for me, I'm noob in that kind of magic.

These are typical module files and directories.
They should go in /modules/smf/, then install it as any other XOOPS module.

(Don't know, but I assume all tables should be in one database)

I don't know is the bridght script compatibile with XOOPS 2.3.3. Someone could check it, and put in in repository.
