I`m new to XOOPS so don`t be to hard on me
I have made a big mistake in the admin menu i`v chanced some rights of a registred user.
When I was finisched I saw that I did`t have rights anymore MYSELF
I mean ,when I loged on as the webmaster I don`t see the admin block anymore.
I looked into the mySQL database to see where this is done.
But again ,I`m a newbee....
Is there an easy way to get acces again?

If anybody knows,please help me out

Welcome to the forum Luwie :)

Check to se what is your user uid in xoops.

If you can find somewhere in your page where your user name is written keep the mouse over your name and you'll see something like

www.yourwebsite.com/userinfo.php?uid=XXXX

The xxx is your user uid.

Find in phpmyadmin the table xoops_groups_users_link

And change the values where your uid is located so that groupid = 1.

A friend running simular software fixed it
And I wil try your solution,thank you
Now I can go on with Xoops
