New Xoops version installation error

need help! i've installed successfully older version of XOOPS before but i havent encountered an internal server error 500 during installation
i checked the apache logs and its not really helpful. any ideas?

At what step?
Did you verify all files were uploaded correct (see file check in the release notes)?
