I have a site fresh install on XOOPS 2.3.1
Everything is working as it should till the module for your start page was set as no module. But when i set mastop publish as a default module all the blocks that were supposed to be visible only on top page are visible on all the pages under mastop publish. Is this a bug or am i missing something.

Mastop Publish has it's own area for setting block display prefs. Can get a little confusing with the system block settings too.

Check both sets of settings are in agreement.

Thanks salijapan but I have created some custom blocks plus the blocks from other modules like smartsection that I want should be visible only on the top page. These blocks are not visible in the blockadmin of mastop publish. Pls help.

No, but they will be present in the admin>system>blocks area.
Set them there.

Got a link so we can see what you're talking about?

You can check it onhttp://iaolonline.com/

The default module is Mastop publish renamed to iaol.
The latest news block and the important links block is set only for top page but is visible on all pages made by mastop publish module check workshop, about us page. The above said are rightly not visible under other modules but they are somehow visible under all the mastop publish pages.

Ah. I see what you mean. Actually, this is normal behavior isn't it? If News was your default module, wouldn't all news pages show the blocks 'appointed' to the module?

Thanks again
Ok, so is there a way that i can set mastop publish as the default module but the blocks are visible only on the top page and not any other page of the site.
