Update to xoops 2.3 RC2

As an update XOOPS 2.0.18.2 to XOOPS 2.3 RC2 ? ask because I have the module Protector 3.01 installed in XOOPS 2.0.18.2.

Follow the instructions in Upgrade subdirectory.

In your case please be aware the 2.3 includes the newest Protector version: 3.17, which will overwrite your current 3.01.

Thanks for your answer..... I think ... will be more simple upgrade of XOOPS 2.0.18 RC2 to XOOPS 3.0 or XOOPS 2.3 to XOOPS 3.0 ?????

your advice?, your suggestion?

It should be the same for both, but why wait for 3.0? We don't know when it will be released, and 2.3 Final should be released within few weeks and will give you access to some extra functionality like the Private messaging and Extended Profile.

It is more feasible? a module that works now at 2.3 also to work in 3.0?, or a module in 2.0.18.2 also worked in 3.0?
