I am testing a new install of my website. Currently I am using News 1.1 and would like to use News 1.56 on a new install of XOOPS v2.0.18.

I've installed the News 1.56 module and added all the old stories in through phpmyadmin,and everything seems to be there and working fine.

But, I am experiencing one main problem: the news stories are not displaying on the news home page. There are page numbers on the screen, but no news stories. The stories are displayed when you choose a topic and search through archives though.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

there is an embeeded upgrader in the News module package, read the readme file.

Thanks very much Marco - it worked. I just over-rided the old files with the new ones. Didn't think it was that simple!
