We have XOOPS up and running but have not been able to successfully integrate AD authentication. We have read many tech notes and tried many variations of settings. We have followed, with no success, the instructions located at: http://www.xoopspro.com/modules/wiwimod/index.php?page=AuthAD-En&back=xas-en

Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. Our software verfsion and settings are shown below. - Thanks.

XOOPS Version: 2.0.16
Windows Server: 2003 – SP1 – Standard Edition – Native Mode

SETTINGS:
Authentication Method> Microsoft Active Directory

LDAP Port> 389

LDAP Server Name> dc1.tex.local

LDAP Base DN> cn=Users,dc=tex,dc=local - NOTE: have tried it without the Users CN, same error, user not found. My account is in the Users OU for this test.

DN of the LDAP manager> administrator@tex.local

Password> domain admin password

LDAP version protocol> 3

XOOPS Users bypass> admin

Login name use the DN> No

LDAP attribute use to search the user> samaccountname

Search filter> @@loginname@@

Domain name> tex.local

Automatic Account provisioning> no

Default affect group> Registered users

LDAP Mail Field> mail

LDAP Given Name Field> givenname

LDAP Surname Field> sn

Xoops Auth Server fields mapping> email=mail|name=displayname

Maintain XOOPS account provisioning> Yes

When i try to authentifate by an Active Directory count the portal display 'Identifiant Incorrect'.
If you can send me a detail about the configuration of Active Directory Authentification with XOOPS i will be greatly appreciated.
