I would start by downloading the current XOOPS and the cbb newest version. Selecting a theme that will be the easiest to convert to your desired look.
Before ftp-ing to my online site I would make sure I didn't have any directorys or files with the same names that might interfer with the setup.
NOTE: Be sure you have a MySQL database ready for the XOOPS install.
AFTER INSTALL, When that works properly... then
From there you will go about replacing the XOOPS logo with your own etc.,
That I would think would be the easiest.
