Moderator without moderator rank??? [XOOPS general usage questions]

Moderator without moderator rank???

My moderators are listed as such in thier profile and they show up in site info on my front page, however in the forums they do not have the moderator rank.

How come? How do I fix this?

what forum are you using and what version of xoops?

maybe the forum module is not compatible. so we check.

Ok I am using newbb 2.0 and XOOPS 2.0.16, everything else is working properly, they just don't have thier stars in the forums.

just to make sure.. the moderators are assigned to the 'moderator' rank by going to the admin section. system config->Edit Users .. and setting their rank in the rank drop down list.

that is correct, they are also listed as moderators in the groups section.

and in the admin section. system config->user ranks.. a image is set for the moderator rank (stars probably)... then im unsure why it is not working..

do not open new topics for the same issue. please stick on your topic ( this one)

about your issue:
if i understand it correctly your moderators are not listed in the newbb/index.php page in each forum?
then try to change your them to default and see if its from your them or not
