I'm having problems using myReviews RC2.1 on my XOOPS 2.0.16 site.

I can't seem to do anything that requires database access. For instance, clicking on any of the configuration options such as manage reviews or manage categories just brings me back to the main config menu.

And if I try adding a review it doesn't submit as well.

Any ideas?

Just to update, I tried lykos reviews module to test and it also has the same problem. I can't add categories or reviews. Looks like its a problem with my php or MySQL version?

On my local maching I have MySQL 5 and everything works fine. On the remote side they have MySQL 4 and the modules dont work properly.

Is there any way to get debug messages from modules?

Ok, after putting XOOPS into debug mode and getting "Notice: Undefined variable: HTTP_GET_VARS in file /modules/myReviews/reviewbook.php line 222"

and reading:

https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=21&lid=1135

I've discovered that its a php5 problem. Something to do with long variables and since I'm not hosting the site, theres not much I can except beg the developer to update his module, plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Notices have nothing to do with your error. Try MySQL debug to see if it shows anything.
