Hey im running XOOPS 2.0.16, tryed to add the old xoopsPolls modle, all went fine, i can access the admin page for the poll module, but none of the links work, i click on one and it just goes back to the poll admin page.
so i cant delete or add or edit any polls, the weird thing is newbb 2.0 can add polls using the forum, and they work perfectly fine and appear in the polls module.

ive notice this effect of a lot of modules ive tryed, is it a instalation problem, server setup problem? or a side effect of the new 2.0 series

also from newbb2 will my posts delete if i upgrade to cbb?

You can try a couple of things in the following sequence...

1. delete all files in templates_c; see if that works...
2. reinstall the system module from the Admin panel and see if that helps...
3. reload all the 2.0.16 files and try steps 1 & 2 again...

Good luck.

hello,

just to mention i have the exact same problem, but only with the xoopspolls module (i use version 1.1).

i just tried reinstalling modules but that did not change anything.

can i really safely delete all files in template_c ? this mays sound a bit stupid, but i don't know what is this directory used for... should i regenerate something after that ?

thanks for your help

Yes - it is a temp file. They will rebuild.

No - they should be fine - CBB is the name for the module but inside the folders it is still called newbb.

well i tried all that and did not solve the problem.
I even tested with a fresh XOOPS install and with all my modules installed without any configuration, and i still have the problem.

I think another module is causing a conflict but how could I know which one ? i suspect xoopschat, icepick66 did you install that one too ?

I don't lnow any of these modules - but the easy way is to turn off and uninstall the possibles and get all working how you like it. The install them one at a time and see what happens.

Please note:
-the module repository is out of date. Check the release date of this module in the top right hand corner. This may be the problem - if you wish to have it updated or work out how to fix it please ask for assistance in the forums. Check this FAQ for How to select modules for your site.
