How Do I Install Modules!!!!?

I don't know how to install modules.

I always get file not found!

Probably yor folder structure is not correct.

If you downloaded "xoops2-mod-somemodule05.zip" and extract it to a structure like xoops2-mod-somemodule05/modules/somemodule ... only the part from somemodule shuld go in your XOOPS modules folder (when uploading upload somemodule, not xoops2-mod-somemodule05 nor modules).

In short, in the folder you are uploading, there needs to be "xoops_version.php" file and some more files and folders.

Also do not change the name of the folder (even if you don't like it)

Have you looked at the FAQ entry for "How do I install a module?"?

I will try to expalin. You download module, and then unzip it. You will get some follder. Sometimes that follder is the module itself, some times module is inside that folder. You have to copy folder with module. What I mean? You downloaded module aaa. You must upolad foder with name aaa. It can be in folder modules, or sometimes it is in folder html. Afterthat co to admin area, modules administration, and click on icone of that module! I hope that I expalined!
