when i trying to use some modules, this error is shown:

Is the number of record the problem?
For example, the table xoops_bdstories (module: bdnews) has 6558 row (yes: 6558!)
when i write an article in bdnews, if i click on 'preview', the error is showed, but if write only 2-3 words, the preview works succefull!

The site is http://www.primadanoi.it and use a linux server.

What did you find when you put 'internal server error' in the search bar? (I believe those with similar problems have already posted on this question - the answer may already be here.)

most likely you may need to change the memory limit in php.ini to a higher value, along with MAX_POST_SIZE.

if you are on a shared server, it's likely you can't do this yourself so you should ask your host. a lot of the hosts that offer hosting plans on the cheap have set memory limits to 8M in php.ini which is really low by todays standards.

i can't change the limit.
the memory_limit is 12mb and the hoster wouldn't change it...

the problem can be the number of my site's member?
I said that because if i remove this lines of code:

in the 'modules/dbnews/admin/storyform.inc.php' page, the error doesn't appear, and the page is displayed... why?
