Hi Group,

I'm trying to get MyAlbum to work, but there seems to be something wrong the way I understand it.

I have created a category and a sub category, gcg/gcg2005, in the Add/edit Categories part.

But how do I get pictures into those categories. I have tried to use Batch Register to add pictures already on the server, into the category gcg2005, but only the first pictures is added and when I go to MyAlbum and select the category the picture doesn't show until I click on it.

Can anybody give me a 'to do' list for the right setup and add of pictures, which is better than the Install file coming with the module.

Regards
Kim

This happens when the filesize of the image you want to upload is to big!

Make the filesize of the images in the ADMIN area of MyAlbum bigger and/or reduce the filzesize of the images whitch you want to upload.

Thanks Wildo, it helped reducing filesize and picture size.

But I have some more questions and perhaps you can help me.

Where should I put the photos on the server. Should I put the photos belonging to one category into its own folder or should all pictures go into the /uploads/photos folder and then added to the category by the Batch Register function ?

When I opens MyAlbum the latest listing is showed, but these thumbnails are of a very bad quality, black/white, dimmed or bad colors. Do you know why ?

Thanks again for the help.

Regards
Kim

Great,

it helped setting the check for 'Force GD2 conversion' and then add the pictures again.

Thanks for the replies.
