Pd Downloads Catagories not working

So when I Add a new download Item and I choose a catagory. the item adds, but not in any ctagory it is just in my latest.

Also I can't seem to get my registered user group to have a submit ability though i have given them all the premission there are up to admin.

Help?

what version of pd-downloads do you use?

and did you set the right permission for each categorie and download

and if your user is in more than one group pls change it so that the user is only in one group - because this causes problems with the permissions.

the permissions seem correct I only have two groups and I gave all privledges to both just test. I can submit a new file but it will only show up as a "latest listing"
I have tried changing the catagory and doing multiple files even making new catagory. the submit works it just does not get a catagory. not even a default.

oh version 1.0?

and you are using XOOPS 2.0.14 or any 2.2 release?

pls do the following things
open - /pddownloads/admin/index.php

delete the following line:
$sform -> addElement(new XoopsFormHidden('cid', $cid));

open - /pddownloads/submit.php

delete the following line:
$sform->addElement(new XoopsFormHidden('cid', 'pid'));


open - /pddownloads/admin/category.php

delete the following line:
$sform -> addElement(new XoopsFormHidden('cid', ''));

you could als give pd-downloads 1.2 a try

XOOPS Version:XOOPS 2.0.14
XOOPS Theme:WF_spiderman
XOOPS Template Set:default
PHP Version: 4.4.0
MySQL Version: 4.0.26-nt-max
Server Software:Microsoft-IIS/6.0
PHP Debug Messages: none
MySQL Debug Messages: none
Smarty Debug Messages: none

Will try the above asap and report

Hi,
i have downloaded the XOOPS on 2 nov, and pd-download on 7 nov (Today) means i have the latest version of both.My problem is After successfully installing both,when i try to create the category in pd-download,it gives following error:

"This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

Error: Database Access Error: Please report this error to the PDSection Website:

INSERT INTO xoops_PDdownloads_cat (cid, pid, title, imgurl, description, nohtml, nosmiley, noxcodes, noimages, nobreak, weight, spotlighttop, spotlighthis) VALUES ('', 0, 'softwares', '', 'All the Softwares to download', '', '', '', '', '1', '10', 0, 0)
"

What is this error and how to configure it,
I have MySQL 5.0 and php 5.

I upgraded XOOPS 2.0.13 to XOOPS 2.0.15 and after that I installed PD-Downloads (version 1.2). In PD-Downloads admin area I created a new category, but when I try to "Create new Download" I get
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/myuser/public_html/class/xoopsform/form.php on line 193


on that line is
if (!$this->_elements[$i]->isContainer()) {


Somebody knows what problem could be ?
