Hello,

I wanted to install CBB 3.05 on my site. I uploaded all the files, I belive. And when I go to install the module in Admin area, after I click the install button, I get a blank page and nothing else happens.

I just started a new site with my same hosting and recycled some of the modules from my old installation. But when I installed a few of the other modules, they installed fine.

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.14

Thank you,
CC

First of all did you follow the install insturctions and upload the frameworks folder?

Second - please use the FAQ on blank pages if the above doesn;t work.

you may want to try upping the zip and unzipping on the server if you have indeed followed the slightly out of the norm method of placing the proper files in the folders above the modules dir. (as Jen mentioned).

cbb is pretty big and if you FTP'd it up, something could have timed out or messed up.

This is the error I got. I tryed reupploading the file again and it still doesn't work.

Fatal error: Class artobject: Cannot inherit from undefined class _xoopsobject in
...html/Frameworks/art/object.php on line 62

I excluded the begining of the directory.

Tripmon, I did FTP all of the files up. Most of the time it will time out if I upload a large ammount of files so that might not work. Is there a better way of uploading my files, rather than web based, purly because I don't have it with my hosting.

Thanks,
CC

Was I suppose to install the xoops22 folder? The directions are very unclear.

Yes, with 2.0.x versions, you need the entire "Frameworks" folder at the root of your site.

Your directory structure should look like this:

/
cache
class
extras
Framework
-Framework\art
-Framework \xoops22
images
include
kernel
language
modules
templates_c
themes
uploads
*.php
...

If your doing a new installation of Xoops, I put together a "Install Package" with some modules and hacks. Included is the cbb 3.05 and you can see what is supposed to be were.
Download it HERE.
