Deactivating Module

When I deactivate a module, the module's icon is still showing in the left list under the system module. Is this normal? Is there a way to delete the deactivated icon?

If you uninstall the module by clicking on the uninstall icon next to the module, it will be removed from your list of active modules. Only do this if you no longer want to use the module, as it deletes all database tables associated with the module.

That is normal. You can still access them in the admin area but they are no longer reachable from the frontend side.

To get them off there you would have to uninstall them.
