I am trying to change my layout to use the following template
http://www.webdesigncustoms.com/testsystem/xoops/

I have uploaded this to my site http://portal.timeless-portrait.com

now i have went to the admin tools and verified that its using this template, however after clearing caches cookies and the temp folder nothing changes.

Please help!!!

In your system general preferences, you need to check YES to the question:

Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?

Be sure to turn it back to NO when you are done editing your theme.html.

I did that and nothing changed. What do you mean edit the index.html file the only thing that is in that file is below

What is it exactly that you are trying to do? Upload a theme or upload a template set?

Who said to edit index.html?

Please explain in more detail what you are trying to accomplish? Templates and themes are two different things and I'm not sure which one you are having a problem with.

themes are themes, templates are templates..

themes aren't templates & templates aren't themes.

i posted you a link to the FAQ section dealing with themes & templates in your other thread (regarding the same topic)
