When not logged in - the anonymous user cannot access the default Xoops Contact module Version 1. The page displaying the message “Sorry, you don’t have rights to access this area” is displayed.

I don’t find any option in the Contact module to allow anonymous user access. Same with the standard Links Ver 1.1 and DownloadVer 1.1 modules.

I am using:
Xoops 2.0.13.2
PHP 4.42
MSQL 4.1.18-standard
Apache/1.3.34 (Unix)

XOOPS Theme:

You simply need to go do this:

Go into XOOPS Admin
Click Groups
Select Modify Anonymous Users
make sure the check box next to Contact under Module Access Rights.

Then of course to test it (as you know):

Logout
and then you will see that you can see the Contact module as an anonymous user.

Hope that helps!
