I'm trying to figure out what my best option is for setting up a website for a magazine.

So, I'm looking for a CMS that will do the following:
1) Allow subscribers to log & save a cookie so they can see premium content;
2) Prevent multiple users from logging on with the same ID;
3) Can be skinned to give it a nice look & feel; and
4) It will also be able to integrate with a credit card-processing service to allow people to subscribe.
5)Ideally, I'd be able to assign multiple users at a company a single pwd, while limiting the number of concurrent users based on the subscription package purchased (For example, Company X might pay for only 5 subscriptions. If a 6th person tries to log on using the pwd, they shouldn't be allowed in until one of the other people log off.)

How much of this is available in XOOPS?

I would say all of it apart from no.5 I'm afaid I've never seen anything like that in xoops, but check out the Subscription module and see how it works for you.
