Quick Q on moving host / domain

I know how to move host (moving database).
But all this time, I moved hosts and kept the same domain names.

Can I move website to a "Different" domain name as well, by using same method?

Is there anything different I need to do?

Yes, as long as you edit mainfile.php to reflect the new path, URL, and database information.

I have a "template" website for my clients and all I do is copy the XOOPS directory and database and change the mainfile.php. It works fine.

Just remember to empty your cache and templates_c folder.

You should be fine.
