Download XOOPS 2.2.3 and install the news module herko created. You can find the news module by checking out the news repository

Hi sea_of_love,

i will try to help you a little bit with your news website.

As i understand from your personal mail to me, you have XOOPS 2.2.3 installed an running on a web server. Is that correct?

Now - looking on the juarezpress site as an example - you will need the following modules:
- news
- multimenu
(you get them in the module repository on this site)

- install the news module
- install the multimenu module

- in the news module you have to create topics in the topic manager like local, estatal, nacional etc.
- in the multimenu module you create a module with the topic-names and the link built as:
modules/news/index.php?storytopic=Topic-ID
- then you just have to make the layout part of your site (hide blocks, set rights and design a theme resp. find a suitable free one or buy one)
