Altered Date Format? (simple question)

I've poked around inside my XOOPS based site and also searched through the FAQ and forums, but didn't find what I was looking for.

I just need to know which system template I would need to edit so that the dates show up as MM/DD/YY instead of the default YYYY/MM/DD.

Any help would be appreciated!

I think that you modify this from the global.php file inside the language folder.
