Hallo everyone,

I have made a Backup of my MySQL database with MySQL Admin porgram. Now I have a textfile which is about 12MB. But I can't make a restore. Is there anyone know how to do it? It is really important, so please help me out.

If your text file has an extension of .sql you are halfway there.

Simply enter a tool like phpMyAdmin... and import the sql. Your restore should complete itself without incident, assuming your restore (backup) of the database was performed correctly.

If it times out while restoring you will just have to split the file in parts and do them part by part.

If you have problems restoring big sql files into your database you should try BigDump:http://www.ozerov.de/bigdump.php

BigDump is also integrated in the module Xoops DB Backup & Restore 3.0.
