Login problem on cbb.getituponline.com

I'm registered at http://cbb.getituponline.com/ , and can log in. But as soon as I click on any link, I seem to lose my "logged in" status. I think the XOOPS version is 2.0.13.2, but that's just a guess.

As far as I can tell, I'm not blocking any cookies.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

I just logged in and clicked around with no problems. I am using Firefox 1.07.

Same here with Opera, IE and Firefox. So this should be something related to your machine dave.

Hmmm .... I don't have this problem with any of the numerous other XOOPS sites that I use.

Could something in the database row for my user ID be causing this?

How about registering a testuser? David can delete it later.

please try this dave - its possibly something to do with logging in to the other site, and the cookies getting confused or something...

(I hope I can get the 2.2.3 site sorted this weekend!)

It is usually caused by corruption of xoops_session table.
The problem happens very frequently to many XOOPS sites (both 2.0* and 2.2*) tho I totally have no idea what could be the reason.

Could you try repairing and/or truncating the xoops_session table to see if that fixes the problem?

we get it quite often on sundissential.com (it's not a XOOPS site tho) but same issues with db corruption.. (SQL version is 3.23) i keep telling them to update, but i think it goes in 1 ear and out the other lol just a repair of tables in phpmyadmin does the trick..

Wow Great comment phppp! I didn't know it was xoops_session table related. I suppose it is possible to repair it using phpmyadmin eh?
Me and many other persian Xoopsers have experienced this problem, I hope repairing Xoops_Session will fix it!
