I've recently downloaded XOOPS 2.2.3 from this site, but I can only see three modules in it, is it the right core I got?

If not wich modules can yuo recomend?
I'm thinking on forum, download, polls etc. etc.

modules are in the module repository of this site....
however, if you ar enew to XOOPS and still 'experimenting' with modules etc, I'd install 2.0.13.1 there are more modules for it, and more modules with it.

The newest version of XOOPS and future versions will not contain modules...just the core. Making a long story short, this will ensure that the modules will work better in the long run, as the developers will be able to ensure that the core functionality of XOOPS is correct, which in turn will make it easier to troubleshoot and code the modules for it.
