Hello,
I have been using myAlbum-P for my church's website. I would like to use a new one. myAlbum-P is great, I love the way it works, but there are so many icons, and it looks very sloppy.

What album would you recommend for me?

I have multiple users who love to upload their own photos. SO something that shows who uploaded would be cool.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Hi

Why don?t you try xcgal?
I guess It has all the features you need such a more classic interface, plus the send photo as an e-card.

Give a try

I'm looking at switching to xcgal also. I like the "user" photo album feature and the layout.

I recommend XOOPSGallery. It is great.

I would have to agree that XoopsGallery is a very good way to go.

MyAlbum-p is also a very good one.
Thanks,

One thing that is important is the future support/development of a module. I was using Xoopsgallery until I had a problem with it. I posted to the xoopsgallery website and after a while of not hearing anything, I search around the site and found a discussion about how the developer is not going to continue development on the module: THREAD HERE.

As I stated earlier, this is why I stopped using Xoopsgallery and swithed.

I agree. If you're trying to build up a 'persistent' site that is going to be around for a long time, you need to know that the modules you use have ongoing support. Particularly for a work site.

That's why I hope a core group of modules will be maintained as part of the 'official' system. They don't have to be the latest and greatest, just reliable and predictably available.
