Hi.
I'm trying to develop quite a big photo gallery with my album, but i've had some problems, one of them being that the default whay of seeing the photos in a certain category is alphabetical, ascending.. I would want this to be Date, descending.
Do you happen to know any way of doing this ?
Thanks

In the preferences change "Default order in category's view" to what you want.

I looked again in the preferences, saying that I may have overlooked something, but no, I couldn't find "Default order in category's view" or anything similar to this.
I have found "Type of view in category" with 2 options in a dropdown, list view and table view, but i don't think this is the sollution to my problem.. I don't know if this helps, but the myAlbum version is 2.7 .
Still waiting for more solutions..

I'm using myAlbum 2.7 as i've said in my previous post.
But now I've installed XOOPS in another place as a test, and myAlbum 2.7 also, and i've seen that there i can see the option you mentioned earlier..
For some reason that option isn't showing in my website, even though it was showing in the test website i've made.. Need to mention here that i've used the same version of XOOPS and the same version of myAlbum ( just copyed it from one website to the other )
So what can i do
Is there any way to do this by messing with the XOOPS code ? I wouldn't mind this, if i would be shown how to do it

Sorry, I only scanned over your post and missed the fact that your using 2.7... I've never used that version to be able to offer advice. I'd consider upgrading to 2.8.

Yep.. Seems the problem was from the 2.75 version. I've now updated to 2.84 and everything works fine. I've found the option you were talking about and it works too.
Thanks
