This is the third time I have downloaded and setup xoops. Each time I can not figure out how to upload and see a new theme…. This is way frustrating.

Also…. When you down load a theme does it come with the template or do you have to do that separately?

Also again… In the control panel under templates I cloned the default template with a new name… how do I now make the clone the default template?

Any help to get off on the right foot would really be appreciated…

If you are working a lot on your theme and templates, I suggest while you're in preferences you also choose "yes" in the "update templates from your /themes/ directory" field.

well there's the FAQ Section and the docs on this site, that could be a good place to start..

also remember that there's a search block (top right) which is good for searching for questions & answers..
