What's up with brash?

I needed some help with AMS so I figured I'd saunter over to IT Headquarters when I found this article:

Although I know nothing of the details of what happened, I do know that brash has been one of the shining stars of the XOOPS community and to have him in these sorts does not sit well with me.

Can someone shed some light on this and what happened?

This is a very true statement indeed.
I don't know the events that happened, but the views of one person, does certainly not reflect the views of the whole community.
