Is anyone working on or know of a module to suitable for posting race results and points for a racing site. Module preferably would have the ability to list driver,class,finish pos. etc......

I am looking for one to use on a motocross website !!!

Any info Greatly appreciated!!! REALLY !!

This is something I'm hoping to find as well. One of the team modules last I looked had hope for this but so far it doesn't serve my needs.

What I've done was to create a table by hand and then dump our (car) racing data into it and then use a content module (TinyD etc.) to extract the results. I create a PHP page for each result page.

A bit of manual work but now that I've made the base queries for our 1st event it will be easier the next time.

Base page for race results

Results for 6 runs, sorted by total score. (I did very well considering the stock class...)

There are other versions of the results. Key here is that the pages are dynamic and all feed off the same table dataset.

Well maybe someday there will be enough interest to spark someone into building a module like this.

we do need a module like this but what would be helpful would be a statistics module that can handle all sports and that mutiple instances can be run from 1 install or for it to have a page for every season of one sport or 1 page per sport with ability to define where stuff goes and what the tables are called. if 1 statstics module can be found that is highly customizeable i am sure that would beneifit the community and help more people come to xoops.
