Hello all
I am looking to use XOOPS within my site. I would like to have a login page when a visitor comes to the site without the header or anything else just a login screen.

What I would like to do is have a file called index.php be the login page, this page would be within the main folder of the site. Once the user logs in then they are taken to the subfolder called xoops, this is where the main site is located.

Can some one help me with how to do this.

I am not quite sure why you need to use a subfolder-- if you go into XOOPS preferences and 'turn your site off,' then logout or go to the site with a different browser, you get effectively what you are looking for. A plain page (depending on the template, you can edit it) with a log in screen and a message (which you can also change).

There is no real reason to need a "Xoops" subfolder, as no one can get in without a login anyway.

Try that out and see if it doesn't work for you.
