Anyone know what's going on for SmartFactory?

When I did my daily roundup of favorite sites and went to SmartFactory, I saw this mesage posted: Quote:
The SmartFactory has unfortunately cease its XOOPS related activities. We are sorry for any inconvenience that may result by this decision.


I wonder what's up? Not trying to be nosy. I hope everythings okay. Marcan seems like a really nice chap...

I don't like the sound of this . I do know Marcan just became a father a month or two ago, so he might be just taking time out for the family . Hopefully we can get some info on this as it this style of departure seems very reminiscent of the way Catzwolf departed last year. I hope everything is ok for Marcan.

I really think something needs to be done here. If Marcan goes that will be two active developers gone in the space of a year. I don't know enough details about either departure, but what I do know is this kind of "trend" is of great concern for the future of Xoops.

Its sad that smartfactory is down....smartfaq modules still have bugs....like users cannot modify the FAQ they submitted. Anyone know is there a patch or fix for this issue??
