Hi all

I?ve installed the Shoutbox 3 mod and I?m pretty lost with the config options.

Where can I set all the options like:

Allow bbcode
Allow smileys
Width of iframe
etc........?

In the Block admin, i can only see an option to edit the template and nothing more.

Did I miss something?

Any ideas?

Search for the icon of shoutbox in your admin and press settings.

If there is no icon, try to update the module. Something must have gone wrong during installation.

Wierd:

At the time I wrote this message I only have tested the Mod on a remote server and the although the mod?s icon was present, I could not access the preferences

There?s no need to chmod any folder/file?
The mod must run well with or without registerglobals=off/on?

Now on my localhost, running easyphp 1.6 everything is Ok.
I?ll try again on the host.

Some points:

1.When i click over the icon, i receive a message:

"This should be set invisible. How? System Admin - Modules. Set order to '0'. "

2.I can?t hear the new message?s sound (yes i checked the option in the config )

3.Looking in the images folder, i found two images "online" and "offline.gif"
Is there an option to use them, showing to users that the Mod is on or offline?( I can?t open the images neither on photoshop nor another viewr)This feature could be nice if we think on using the mod like a chat feature with scheduled time.

4. Is there a way to reduce the number of the avaiable smilyes under the shoutFrame? (just for some layout issues)

And the last one

What means a *Anonymous under the shoutframe?
I?m logged as admin and still see the word.

Am I doing something wrong? I uploaded the folder and installed the module but I can't see anything on the shoutbox admin page.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?
