Hi, We were running newbb2.0 final and decided to upgrade to 2.01 final, with some not so good results.

(running XOOPS 2.0.7.3)

When logged in, the forum never shows a user is logged in. Always, their status is 'Offline'.

Also, more importantly, cannot reply to any msgs. It says:

"Could not insert forum post"

Is there anyone else having similar problems? I think i saw someone mention something about the cannot reply issue.

What can i do to resolve these? do i need to wait for 2.02 ?

did u also update the forum module via XOOPS admin/modules

Yep, followed every MUST-DO, to the T

(there were only 4 of them)

Even re uploaded the files just to make sure they all made it over, then updated.

Still the same problems

Right now i have newbb2.01 running and installed.. just opened up a few days back. but while i was doing the upgrade from 1.0 to the newer one... i lost all of my members. :(

But i am still having problems with this newer final version of new bb
