Couple of NEWBB 2.0 Final Questions..

Hellooooo,

just got a couple of quick questions for NEWBB 2.0 Final.

1) Is there a way to make it compulsary to click on the title to enter a forum? Currently the way mine works is if you just click anywhere in the box containing the forum name it will enter the forum.

2) Where does the text in NEWBB gets it's CSS from? is it the CSS file from my /themes folder? I have tried to change .itemText in style.css but the wordings in my forums are still so small!!

3) Also, can i attach more than 1 file per post? This would be helpful when i want to upload pictures but not having to click reply each time.

4) Lastly, is there a way to remove "Enable XOOPS Code" at the end of this page as i think the average user won't know what is that and it will only confuse them.

I think everyone must be enjoying the festive period, as I asked about a Ipb-x to Newbb2 converter and no one has replied to that either

1) its correct, i dont know how it can be change
2) try change .com*** style in your theme .item*** tags are for news module
3) this is already in the feature request
4) i think you can remove it in the template ( not sure which one)

hello again,

i have changed the .comText as you have pointed out and now the text in post looks much better, however, the forum titles are still very small and i cannot seem to find the source.

it can be seen here:http://www.rpmportal.com/modules/newbb/viewforum.php?forum=1

can someone point me in the right direction?

Digest is a system where a user gets an e-mail once every month/week/day (if it can be specified) with summary of the topics and replies during that period. Usually it's a very basic table. It's quite useful if the user isn't that much online but wants to remain on the same level as the others.

Hallo devxtrm,

sorry for delay answer, was in christmas vacation now to your questions:

The fonts for the forumtitle and the postlegend like "Poster" and "Thread" are using < th > so look into your theme css for:

th {background-color: #2F5376; color: #FFFFFF;
padding : 2px; vertical-align : middle;
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;}


This is from the default theme css. Just insert font-size: 12px; or what ever the size should.

The current final Version is multi attachment able.

Enable XOOPS Code is part of the forumform.inc.php in the include folder.


Could you explain your first question, do you mean in the Block or in the viewforum ?
