How to change "myalbum-p" default folder name?

We are using myalbum-p for our internet photo club. The feedbacks from the members are very encouraging.

As more and more members join in, the server is getting slow.
We are upgrading the system to a new server. Since we use the module for discussion, the folder name "myalbum" doesn't match
that purpose. We would like to change it to "foto_forum". However, after changing it, we find it doesn't work in the new server.

Could anyone help?

You will have to go through ALL files and change all references to the original folder name, to change those to what you want it to be.

Not an easy task, especially if you don't have any programming skills...in that case, I recommend NOT to attempt this (try your attempt first on a testsystem).

a addon note
you probably have to go through the same process when you the is new version in the module.

so like what JasonMR said, its not advisable.~ ^_^

I'll keep the default folder name for the module.
