Is there a difference which page I log in?

On this site, my bookmark points to the News, so when I click on it, I go to the news. I have my id and password saved in my Opera browser so I log in from there. But when I try to post on this forum, it won't let me submit and says I don't have the rights, even though I am on the "who is online". and I can see the reply, new topics icons and I was able to enter text.

Now If I go to the HOME page and log in from there, I will be able to post here on the forum.

Is it just me, the opera browser(7.53) or what?

Hmmm... Interesting. Has this only started happening since the XOOPS site relaunch?

yes, I do not have the same problem on my own site and several XOOPS sites which are running various versions of newbb1.

I'm going to have to go and try this out for myself now. I might check the dev site first to see if this is already a reported bug or not.

I am on the newbb2 development site mailing list, never this is mentioned. I do not want to raise an issue there because this site may have some hecks that no one has.

nope - other than some slight optimizations to the searching routine, newbb2 is the same here as anywhere else.

What are your findings? I am still having the same problem.

Perhaps it has to do with Opera, its newer version, its saved log in info processing methods....
