the reason that I have decided to use torrents instead of actually downloads is:
1. Direct download of actual episodes is illegal
2. I don't have the space on that server to host gigs upon gigs of episodes
3. I don't have the bandwidth to host that many files.
I actually want this to become a bittorrent community. That's why I've been pushing for a "torrent module" or "tracker module". I've been trying to find someone who could port
bytemonsoon or any other php tracker into a module for xoops. I think this would be a great resource to the XOOPS community.
torrenttrader is a really good php tracker, but that's pretty much all it is. Very simple interface. You can't add on to it like you can xoops.
