Before, I always able to update system_block_siteinfo.html (I set [Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?] to Yes already)

But, when I change system_block_siteinfo.html file, I cannot get the newest one.

Can someone help me ?

Before it always work, but now, I dont know why it doesnt work.

please help me

1st are you using the default template? if so then u need to use a cloned template.. had to mention it, sorry if you aren't using the default..

if not then:

goto templates admin

click on system [list]

then find the system_siteinfo template and click delete.

once deleted click the generate link and that will update from the modules template folder

Update module templates from theme directory is for when you are changing your THEME or when you have templates for modules in your theme folder.

If you change your physical files on the server inside a module, you will need to update that module after the changes. This includes the System module.

I also trying by clone the template, set the template to new template, delete the system_info.html template and then generate again. But it didn't work.

Ups .. i forgot, I havent edit the template in my cloned template. I thought I need to edit in physical file :)

btw, why we need to store all templates in the database ?

In order to make it possible to edit them through the administration menu.

If you are editing physical files, upload them and update the module and the default template set (not cloned sets) will be updated.
