After I refresh my page, the top of it appears as shown. Is this a feature?

No, it seems JavaScript is messing about with you

Hi Pred,
I saw that, and am using the "default" XOOPS theme. I checked and that <{$xoops_module_header}> line does exsist:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="<{$xoops_themecss}>" />
<!--
RMVadded module header -->
<{
$xoops_module_header}>
<
script type="text/javascript">

That issue tends to occur when I "refresh" the forum page. (but not always)

[edit]The below assumes you are using custom templates[/edit]

Did you delete your templates and rebuild them? I had a similiar thing happen in the earlier betas of NewBB2 and I think that's what fixed it for me.

Hi Speed,
no, im using the default template set. The only thing different about my default theme is Im using an 'include()' to insert some java script that creates a nav bar at the top of my sight. Maybe something is getting goofed up there and rippling down to effect the newbb menus.

I had the exact same problem across three websites. Putting in the <{$xoops_module_header}> on the theme.html fixed it on all sites for me.

Here's how (I'm assuming you have FTP access to a remote host):

- FTP to your website
- Change directories to /theme/your_theme where your_theme = the theme you have picked.
- Download theme.html
- Use your favorite editor. Look for the line that ends:
href="<{$xoops_themecss}>" />'

- Immediately after that line, add the following line:
<{$xoops_module_header}>
-Save your file.
-Upload it back to the same location on your website.

Now try it and see what happens.
