Is the problem that your theme is not updating with the changes you have made? If so, check the XOOPS wiki for theme troubleshooting.

1) your site says: "Just experiencing technical difficulties do not adjust your set i will be back in a few hours."

2) HTML uses TEXT to mark text as a LINK
-> search for these tags
-> you will find: Quote:
[/url]

-> <{$xoops_url}> is a Smarty template variable (Smarty is a php template engine used by XOOPS), that the php script can identify, and replaces with the apropriate string
-> replace <{$xoops_url}> with address you want to link to

3) have your template files updated
-> this is done automaticly if your site preferences are set so (Sys Admin -> General Preferences)

You might consider warning people that your site is Not Workplace Safe...

Have you enabled "update module templates from themes/yourtheme folder" in system admin?

1) see my answer above, that will solve your problem!!!
2) Mithrandir WASN'T critizising your site!!!
=> Some people that try to help you, do so from work; they can get into trouble for going to your site! Please take that into consideration!

But I will give you a DETAILED answer:
Quote:

Now to the detailed explenation:
Quote:

Everything between the 1st < and >, is the first bit of your link mark-up.
After that, everything between the 2'nd < and >, is the mark up, that tells the browser to place an image, that it should get from a certain location.
Quote:

Now the link need to be closed off, done by [a][/i].

You need to change this part to your liking:
Quote:

, to be more specific, you insert the address you want to link to between the parentheses.

----
Now let's take a look at your briliant work:
Quote:

I can't guess, what made you hack this, but mate........

=> This is how it COULD look like (as other part of your code, CLEARLY indicate!), if it is suppose to work:

Now go fix your code, and be nice to people
