Ok, I don't know what I did. My Who's Online block disappeared. I'd like to make it visible on my /modules/istats screen but I can't find it to activate it.... I checked group permissions and it is checked for webmasters but it doesn't appear in the block menu of the admin section.

What did I do? And how do I undo it?

try setting it on so everyone can see and just see if that works put permissions on anonymous for a moment and we see if it works if it doesn’t we know that it is something wrong.

try go to admin cp | groups | edit registered user

make sure you tick/enable Who's Online block there...

then, go back to block admin...

Just have a fiddle for a while don't panic these things can be easy solved just poke around with permissions. If all else fails we know its the module uninstall it and reinstall it through modules area in XOOPS however I don’t think this will be required it just something you have over looked in your XOOPS admin panel most likely permissions.

Found the bugger. It had taken refuge on the freecontent page....

*sigh* One little mis-click apparently. One moment it was there and then it was gone. Trying to set up web sites with a squirming three-year-old on your lap is dangerous.

Chalk this one up to user error.

It may be a user error, but due to bad interface design, which in some way, could be seen as a meta-system-error

I would commit time to further development of a new Administration Interface, but I am far to inexperienced with XOOPS, to start a project on my own. I had contacted a person supposedly thinking and developing such, but never heard back. So if anyone knows of such a project, or wants to start one, contact me, and I will help as much as I can.
