Is the any way to add MP3 files to the list of MIME types?

I am an agent for musicians who create orginal music and we would like to distribute demos with a tool like this.

add these lines:

audio/mp3
audio/mpeg
audio/x-mp3
audio/x-mpeg
audio/m3u
audio/x-m3u

What are the mime-types for OpenOffice formats and where do you add new mime-types? In the database I assume, which table?
