Hello, I have a strange problem in my XOOPS site,
www.gattonerong.it, some people report problem at the end of register form.

In one case norton firewall seem the guilty but other cases are not clear.

some idea?

The page is blank, or with only the fixed part of page (title, menu and other blocks)

Most often it is a personal firewall issue. Also, if you're using the gzip option in XOOPS or PHP's zlib_output_compression option you might turn that off and see if it fixes it.

You can try switching on php debugging and ask the person to try again. Probably you will see error messages that give you a direction where to find the solution.

I have the gzip compression on, I have contacted some people that have problems and wait for anwser but set off the compression have solved a problem on comments administration page so I think that the problems are solved, I hope

In any case seem a very strange bug.

I'm glad to hear we're on the right path. I don't know if the gzip issue is an XOOPS bug. Browsers have always had issues with gzip and I've abandoned it long ago, before xoops. There are good alternatives. Careful use of caching and PHP accelerators are more stable on mine.
