i want to have tow banner in time at my site.
i think must put the <xoops_banner> tag twice in theme.html

is this correct?

do you just want to have two banners or, have different ones? I know just having two, is pretty easy, just use the smarty variable... it might get complicated for the other one.

If you want to have two different banners showing on your site in different locations, use the XOOPS banner for one and use a javasript for the other. You can add the javascript anywhere you want in your theme.html or add it to a block. Free javascripts for adding rotating banners can be found by using google.
